It's 1:08 on a Sunday night--Monday morning. That means I'll have a post going up in about seven hours. So here I am, writing it in the middle of the night.

Sometimes I'm a girl on the beach, having picnics; playing volleyball; burying my piggies in the sand, that gets washed away in a wave. It's a sweeping movement, the blue crashing over me and taking me home with it, into the ocean. I am the girl. And the wave is this thought, an inspired memo that plucks me out of reality and takes me away. And when the wave carries me back to land--as it always does, for it's a different kind of wave. A protective and loving one--all I want to do is share saltwater with you.

Sometimes it's like that, in the middle of the week I'll have ocean sprays in thoughts and feelings that I just must write down. And sometimes it's like today. I've had an incredible week full of books that are full of beautiful words and poems about humanity, impromptu family dinners, cosmic brownies, a night in the city on rooftops and in moody coffee shops for a photo-shoot, the first taste of cold weather that we've had in months, falling absolutely in love with homework because all my classes are about Anthropology, plants, and English, spending all of Sunday with my baby and his humongous family, feeling sore as the second place winner from a new workout routine, and changing a whole lot of diapers. Sometimes I'm off on all kinds of adventures and the beach is just miles away.

I love them both. That's the message of this post, I've just decided. Love your life regardless of what it entails. Love the inspired, most purposeful moments where you're living to your fullest potential. And love your ten minutes in the car listening to that new song you just added to this year's Fall Playlist. Love your puppies when they snuggle you and when they don't listen. Love your parents when they bless you and love them when they drive you batso. Love your lover, always. Love him. Love your plants, love your books, love your mirror, love your pillow.

Love before everything. Above all else, just love.

It's 1:32 now and I love you. Goodnight <3
