Fashion in the Time of Cholera/Mia's World

Love in the Time of Cholera is a book about love lost between a cherry pair of young lovers: Florentino Ariza and Fermina Daza. In their old age, after Florentino's 622 love affairs and the long awaited death of Fermina's husband, their love is reclaimed.

For years, the title of that book has kept in my memory. I've never known what it's about, never even looked it up, but there was something in the romance of those words strung together.

Love in the Time of Cholera.

Romance in the the time of plague, beauty in the time of tragedy, passion in the time of death.

Now, I know what the story is about, and maybe it's a bit dramatic for what I turned it into, but it's too late. I already named my fall fashion board after it.

The monochromes, the patterned tights, the royal jewels, they have enchanted me.

And so has something similar in flavor, this collection of photos that I call Mia's World, a collection of my dream reality. Just take a sip you'll see, that it tastes the same.
