Laundry List: Current B-Roll Tape

• Giggling through the snow in my blue, fluffy slippers, itty-bitty-little sleep shorts, and winter coat to start my car in the morning.

• Hearing mom say, “It’s almost punkin time“ around 9 P.M. each night. (You know how at midnight Cinderella’s carriage can’t be a carriage anymore? At 9:30, mom cant keep her eyes open anymore. They both turn into sleeping pumpkins.) She has always lived Cinderella.

• R&B all the time... I just figured out what it is.

• Getting home late and writing for an hour or two until it’s my punkin time.

• Sore shoulders from moving.

• Cookie dough ice cream.

• Trying out new tanner and makeup, taking in their new colors, textures, and smells.

• Watching Magnum P.I. with mom each night. (We make up goofy names for it: Mangum, Magum, Mangy. [Why do we do this with everything?]) The short shorts, aloha shirts, mustaches, and love hungry women just crack me up. But Magnum, I adore him.
  

• Being chilly all the time in the RV. Having the little fireplace and the space heater on, layers and layers of blankets, and getting them all stolen by mom. She is a blankie hawg.

• Waking up in the RV and lying there, peacefully, just replaying my dreams and dreamy recent memories.

• A little hometown fling for just the week of Christmas. First kiss looking out over the lights of the whole valley one night in his clean car, splashing each other in the hot tub on the next.

• Trying like crazy to be a better driver now that I’ve gotten rid of the Red Rocket, but still forgetting to close the trunk, parking terribly, and actually scraping the “Big-A truck” in a drive through.
