Laundry List: The Crystals I Take Everywhere

Lepidolite:

My identity crystal--the one that I saw in the shop full of gems and stopped to say, "This is my crystal, the one that embodies me wildly, my identity." It's a lilac stone that helps to calm and soothe the soul, stabilizes emotions, and carries one through big life transitions. It's connected to the heart and crown chakra, my two loves, and I love to sleep with it. I actually put two under my pillow each night with an amethyst to help me sleep and dream sweetly.

Amethyst:

A stone with similar abilities when it comes to the sweet dreams, stress relief, and relaxation. It's big on connection to spirit and psychic abilities, and aura protection.

Citrine:

The lovely, barely golden gem is a sunny source of abundance. It's magnetic to wealth, positivity, and opportunity. Citrine cleanses the chakras and delights in creativity. For the intuition, it's lovely as well.

Carnelian:

Carnelian is the flame that lights the candle of creativity. It's red and orange like the planet Mars, and it's just gorgeous. Whenever I visit a crystal shop, I ask the lovely cashier what her favorite stone is, and at my favorite shop, my favorite girl's crystal is Carnelian. It's a stone of motivation and ambition, drive, courage, curiosity, and protection. In the burgundy bag that totes around all of my dreamy, fairy, wishful stones, there is one that gives me a bit more grounding and helps me to take action and be realistic--this one. It is for the Root and Solar Plexus chakras.

Sunstone:

Welcome to the sweet and lovely land of the sun. It's a purely radiant blessing of positive energy and joy, good fortune, luck, and uplift. For the sacral chakra, it is certainly an essential companion, a bringer of light and love.

Rose Quartz:

If you've ever heard of crystals, this stone has met your acquaintance. It's the stone of love--the universal, true kind. Romantic love, friendly love, and self love are all guided and strengthened by this angel. It's not just an invitation, though. It's a healer of the heart and the heart chakra.

Angelite:

It's heavenly. It's angelic. It's a gift of peace and divine connection, an aid in communication with angels, a help to those who seek telepathic abilities or understanding of the metaphysical. This one, my darling, holds a special place in my heart.
