I feel like this post just begs me to begin with a mood board, so here we are:

Now, darling, let's begin with a question.

In your every day life, are you more head or heart? When you decide what to eat for breakfast, do you choose what's logically better for you or what your tummy desires? Do you work in a job that you enjoy or a job that makes you better money, but you don't really enjoy? Maybe you're somewhere in the middle, maybe you're all head, maybe you're all heart. It may seem like living intuitively is heart exclusively, but let me break down why it's actually quite logical.

To live by divine guidance and intuitive desire really sets you into alignment, and when you're in alignment, by the scientific law of attraction, you attract what's very best for you. That's one part of it: the law of attraction, that when you vibrate at your highest frequency, you attract high frequencies. The other part is that there are these divine synchronicities and miracles all around us. I have a laundry list full of miracle stories. The miracles point to a higher power that seems to know more than the limited mortal eye. If you believe in a higher power -- Christ Consciousness, God, The Universe, Angels, Spirit Guides -- and listen to it, it will lead you to where you're meant to go. The reason that's logical and not fairy foo-foo, is the shared experience. I've lived this and watched it happen to a plethora of people around me, and the testimonies speak for themselves. If the results speak for themselves, then why not give it a try?

How?

1.

I think that a little journaling goes a very long way, so feel free to start there. My first suggestion is to make a couple of lists, and make it easy on yourself. Make it enjoyable, too. Take a little trip to the grocery store for your favorite snack, go to your coziest space, light your favorite candle -- and a few more for good measure -- snuggle up, and pop open that journal.

List 1: What do you want to improve about your current life? Your conversations with your parents, best friends, lovers? Your energy throughout the day? How your body feels? What you do for work? How you see yourself? The clothes that hang in your closet?

List 2: What do you like or love about your current life? Your relationships? Your Friday night plans each week? Your favorite TV show? Your haircut? The way that your laundry detergent smells? That new hiking trail you've stumbled upon? How soft your puppy is in the spring? Sundresses? The date you have planned for next week? A memory that's just resurfaced?

List 3: What have been some special moments in your life? Are there any divine happenstances that you can think of? Times that you ran into someone just when you needed to? Times when you felt like you should call a friend, and they later told you that they really needed that call? Times where you may have lost all hope and given up hope and had no idea what to do with your life, then had it picked up and carried exactly where it needed to go?

Once you've written those lovely lists, reflect. Take a few minutes to think about where those feelings come from and what they mean. A few days would do you even better. Marinate.

2.

Then, meditate. Find someplace quiet. Clear your space, your energetic field, and your mind. Then try to connect to higher power. If prayer is a comfortable way for you to do that, pray! Communicate with source and try to receive some answers. When I seek guidance, I often go to a quiet space by myself and ask questions out loud. The answers come through feelings, for me. I get knowings, immediate senses of "Yes" or "No" through particular feelings. Say, for instance, I'm all worked up about whether to go on a potentially wonderful trip, because money is tight. I'll say out loud or in my mind, "Should I go on the trip to _____?" And as I'll speak the words out loud, I'll feel light, giddy, inspired, or warm if it's a yes, or like a puzzle piece trying to settle into the wrong spot, if it's a no.

There are other ways too, though. In tarot readings, I see scenes and images or hear particular phrases. Clairaudience and clairvoyance are qualities that many people have untapped, so, in your meditations, try to be open to your own spiritual lines of communication. Find moments to quietly meditate throughout your day, as well. As you ride the city bus or drive, turn your music off for a while and see if any thoughts come your way. Try to incorporate lots of quiet moments into your life -- for it's in them that messages travel. The more time you spend in the quiet, the more messages you will receive. Love the quiet, learn to enjoy it. It doesn't need to be boring; you're having a conversation after all.

3.

Look for signs and messages around you. Pay attention to your dreams, any angel numbers that you run into, and if there are any repeating themes in your realm. Maybe people keep telling you one specific phrase or idea. If you notice that, listen to it, and understand that it's a message for you, but only if it comes from a benevolent source. If people who don't like you or want to see you hurt continually tell you something, don't necessarily internalize that. If it's people who love you, though, consider. Use your intuition to read people's intentions. Sometimes strangers are the best sources because they don't have much bias.

4.

Visit a spiritual messenger: a psychic, a medium, a tarot reader, a reiki practitioner, an empath, or an intuitive. The truth is that you have all of the power within you. You don't need to seek anyone else's help, because the answers are all within you. Your God, your angels, your spirit guides are ready to communicate solely with you. Other people can be helpful for the times that you seek confirmation on the answers that you receive or when you feel like your channel is a bit blocked. If you aren't receiving answers on your own, visiting a spiritual messenger can be perfect. If you have received divine guidance, but would like a confirmation from an outside source, the same goes. A Pick-A-Card reading on YouTube can be enough. Maybe you'd like a personal reading.

5.

Maybe you'd like to have your own tarot deck and read for yourself. The fifth way to tap into your own divine guidance is to get into physical spirituality: tarot, pendulums, etc. If you set an intention, you can charm an object to give you an answer. Meditate for a moment and call on source to show you what they know. You can pull out a little game dice and say, "Alright love, I'm going to roll his dye, and if it lands on a 2 or a 5, I'll take that as a yes. If not, it must be a no, right?" Get creative. Make your own spiritual practice, as long as it feels right and true and benevolent.

*Note: Remember to keep your energetic field strong. Utilize crystals that align with your desires and needs. If you would like more ambition, find some sapphire or carnelian. If you'd like protection from outside energies, consider some obsidian, onyx, or black tourmaline. If you need peace, how about some aquamarine or amethyst? This is where journaling comes back. Journal about what you desire and what's blocking you from being there. Then, find the crystals that resonate with that energy and keep them close. When you seek divine guidance, try some angelite, amethyst, or bloodstone as they all help with psychic connection and intuition.

So, that's how to seek divine guidance. It's such a lovely way to live. There's so much comfort and expansion that comes out of living intuitively and divinely.

With that, I think I'll wrap this one up. I love you. I love you. I love you. <3
